Alien3D Swatch Card Display Box

This is my final design for my favorite Alien3D Swatch Cards (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3388734) to be stored in and displayed. I would have done a dark purple box top with starry accents with a 3D pen but since I lack the purple I decided to give to the daylight with cloud theme instead for now. The Alien3D logo facade glues into the recess on the box bottom and was done in multi-colors using Simplify3D multiple process. I managed to splice the alien with ship model into two separate shells and then print them individually into two separate colors and glue them back. Use rafts and supports on the ship before you print it out. The alien on the ship makes for a great handle as long as you pick up by the sides of the ship after gluing instead of the alien, itself. I even designed the box bottom to be lined with ridges along the bottom to help hold at least 20 Alien 3D swatch cards along the bottom. I know this won't hold all the filament but it could help display the best ones you have thus far. The box was designed to fit on a 120mm x 120mm build plate. The box shells will more likely be best printed with 100% infill, just be sure NOT to use your actual filament samples when printing the box shells! LOL!!
