This is a straightforward guide to help you construct a Feather Edge (also known as Close Board) fence using boards that are 125mm wide. When assembling, the edge of one board catches onto the previous board, resulting in a 25mm overlap. To secure the boards, nail the front edge directly into the narrow end of the board below it. This simple yet effective design proved extremely useful during my own fence-building project last weekend.
