This is all the 3d printed LEGO® tracks following the L-Gauge train track standard.

See YouTube video:

Also included is my Solidworks source file so you can modify the length, radius, degree, inner blocks, etc.

The models are designed/optimized for 3d printing and I cannot guarantee that they are fully compatible with official LEGO® rail. If you print this please tell me how well they interlock with them.

The bottom of the track is designed so you can snap LEGO® bricks to them yet still be easily printable (the small holes on the bottom of official LEGO® blocks are near impossible to reliably 3d print). This allows you to build raised tracks and bridges in conjunction with lego blocks.

As mentioned above the Solidworks source file is included in case you want to change parameters for your printing needs. Those could include specifics to your printer, removal of the lego posts, more or less lego bricks, or different/new tracks with other curves.

1x and R040 tracks are the standard size from lego, and you can print 3x of them on the Prusa Mk3 in about 9 hours on high quality settings.

Print instructions

READ BEFORE PRINTING!

Printing in PLA I find I need to print with a brim at a very slow speed to get the print to fully stick so it all prints flat. I've been printing at 10mm/s for the first layer does the job.

Low infill of 15% works well. The track will come out very stiff in PLA regardless.
