Allen Wrench Handle

Allen Wrench Handle

I have dozens of allen wrenches lying around, slavaged from ikea and other furniture screw kits. And I had this nice 2.5 mm allen wrench by wiha I really like to use when tinkering. So I decided to make a similar design to reuse those salvaged wrenches. First I wanted to cut the wrenches to fit really plain into the case, but I then experienced the benefit of having a lever to tighten screws with. The red cap snaps into place and spins freely when screwing, so you can balance the wrench while working pretty good. I made several stl for 1.5 2 3 4 and 5 mm caps. I also added the fusion 360 files so you can edit the design to fit your wrenches with 2 parameters: key_size for the allen wrench size, I used additional 0.1 mm clearance key_radius for the bent radius to fit into the case I also added a cavity to allow ± 0.5 mm as the radius is not easy to measure exactly. Don't forget to add half of the wrench size here, the radius is designed to be in the middle of the wrench. The provided grip_shaft_btm_2.stl and grip_shaft_top_2.stl are parameterized to fit my 2 mm allen wrench. Have fun and please reference this thing if you remix or reuse it!
