I called this pen the Alma Fountain Pen because I made several iterations (this is the 4th one) but the soul (alma) was always the same: an easy to print fountain pen body, section and cap, compatible with Jowo #6 nibs (popular and easily available).

The thread for the nib is an ISO Metric thread specific for the threads used for Jowo #6 nibs, but the other 2 threads are custom made, and feature a triple thread design so it's easier to screw and remove the cap and body. The cap and body threads also screw in different directions (counter-clockwise and clockwise, respectively) because otherwise the section could get stuck inside the cap and I wouldn't be able to unscrew it.

The shape of the pen body and cap's end was designed in a way that allows the parts to be printed without need for supports.

The pen cap doesn't have a clip but it has a roll stop (the pen will still roll over the desk when uncapped).

The pen body is long enough for cartridge converters, and to be used uncapped.

No supports needed to print it:

Print the cap and body with the opening facing down;

Print the section with the smallest opening facing down.

I printed it with PLA, 0.15mm layer height with random seam looks really nice to me, ever nicer with filaments like Prusament Galaxy Black that help hidding the seam.

It's optional, but I also tried applying CA glue in layers and buffing it out, and it got a nice finish!
