## This is a remix of the great Aloy model by StreetPiet. Basically I just split the model in three parts and added a stand to make a sculpture thats easily printable even without supports if your printer handles steep overhangs decently. The advantage with the split version is that you gain surface cleanness and faster print times by omitting support. The only drawback is that you will have visible seams between the individual parts and need some kind of adhesive to glue the parts together. ### What files do you need for printing? Standard Model: (2.5x-7x scale recommended) aloy_from_the_nora_SplitTop.stl aloy_from_the_nora_SplitMid.stl aloy_from_the_nora_SplitBotWithStandSimple.stl With LEDs: (use transparent or white filament and bright LEDs!) aloy_from_the_nora_SplitTop.stl aloy_from_the_nora_SplitMidWithLEDHoles.stl aloy_from_the_nora_SplitBotWithStandWithLEDHoles.stl Optionally: (these parts are designed for the 5x scaled Aloy) aloy_LEDStandWemosD1.stl Horizon_Logo.stl (to glue on the side of the stand) ### Update 07/04/17: Uploaded the leg and middle parts with holes for integrated LEDs. Today I uploaded photos of the LED assembly and the finished illuminated figurine. I also uploaded a piece to put under the bottom part to house a Wemos D1 microcontroller controlling the LEDs, it fits for the Aloy model scaled 5x. ### My print settings: (grey model) 3x model scale (approx. 25cm/10" large) 0.2mm layer height 5% infill No support (for non-split original version or if your printer is bad with overhangs use support) Print the top an bottom part normally, the middle part upside down (legs facing up). Enjoy!
