This s a replacement closure for Alpina (c) Bike Helmets. The part will not be distributed to customers because it is deemed Personal Protective Equipment by its manufacturer. So if it is broken, you'll have to send in the complete helmet. Some minutes of modeling and printing later.... If you can, print it in Nylon. You will have a good combination of flexibility and duraiblity. PLA (as I did, see black part) works, too. But it tends to be just a tad too rigid. Update: Just did a TPU (Innofil/BASF Innoflex 60A, white part in photos) print.Turns out to be perfect. Nice, working ratchet. Softer edges (if it touches skin) and pretty durable.
