I would like to present a common work which I made with Dariusz J of new single support design which was made for four different sections from different materials.Advantages of presented support designs:• Each design is much lighter and cheaper than current solution.• Commercially available materials - rectangular hollow section.• Reduction of machining and welding.• Simple assembling.• Special profile adapted for use nuts for T-slots provides full flexibility of being able to create different variants with minimum cost.More information in pdf file (Alstom Design Challenge – presentation.pdf)
