Full fancy name being AIFV-19-E and AIFV-19-D3 **Update 8/6/2021 - E Model parts added. D3 not removed in case people favor them, with the exception of the D3 MTLC and Missile Tube** An Infantry Fighting Vehicle for a particular wargame in a universe where there is constant war, though I suppose it could be used in any tabletop game where it can fit the aesthetic, the models are at a 28mm "heroic" scale, and an IFV or something fitting a "light" (lol) tank role is needed. As someone who only plays casual games I decided to put my printers and modeling skills to use creating an alternative model as a project to do whenever I was bored. After almost 2 years of iterating on the design in my spare time, I've decided to release a version out into the wild for others looking for something like it. Who knows, maybe I'll post some of the other stuff I've made in time. Rough dimensions are 5 inches long, a little over 3 inches wide, and just under 2.5 inches high with the turret (no missile tube mounted). Both the E and D3 Hulls Print in one piece, with supports only needed touching the build plate. The D3 Hull has a hull mounted Super-Heavy Machinegun that is un-articulated. The new E Hull However in addition to having more detail now accepts an articulated hull armament, with the choices being either an SHMG or a Flamethrower. Chosen hull armament drops into the slot, then has the bowgun cover pushed into place over it, as shown in the picture. Turret C and D while different in the amount of armor plating on them are functionally identical, and are interchangeble. Both turrets come in three parts, not including the gun options and the missile tube that can be mounted on top. The Gun options are -Two Autocannon options in the old C20-L120 (larger caliber, lower velocity) and the new C16-L175 (smaller caliber but higher velocity) -The new Multiple Tube Laser Cannon -A Super-Heavy Machinegun mount When assembling, insert the desired gun into the "Main" turret piece, then place the "wedge" over the top of the gun, followed by the "top." the missile tube should friction mount on top of the round part of the turret top. Take care to not allow glue to seep down and freeze the gun in place. Parts should be able to be printed with supports touching build plate. Finally, I've also added Simple Turret B2 as an alternative to the articulated turrets. Turret B2 prints in one piece and is armed with a Multiple Tube Laser Cannon. It is not articulated.
