Alternative "Skirt" or "Anchor" for Makerware **UPDATED - OBSOLETE**

I really, really, REALLY wish that MakerWare had a skirt function like Skeinforge in ReplicatorG. I love the freedom of being able to set up my build plate without having the go into my CAD program to create a "plate" to use in RepG. Yes, I know you can set up Skeinforge profiles in MakerWare but to be honest I really can't stand the time it takes to slice using those profiles and to be honest I like, more times than not, how the print come out using MakerWare. While trying to print a large object using the Help Disks provided in MakerWare and trying to find a way to create a skirt it hit me. Why not just put a disk closest the the left/front corner of the build plate and let it print that first to get the filament going before it goes on the the real stuff. I am in no way stating that I created these items. I'm just reposting them on here just in case. They can also be found under "Examples" in MakerWare UPDATE: FYI This is pretty much obsolete with the new version of MakerWare. The new version makes a really nice long anchor at the very front of the build plate that pretty much does the same thing as this disk Instructions It's Simple: place your objects on the plate in MakerWare. place a helper disk in the lower left of the plate (Would be the front of the build plate) Love life!
