Alternative X & Y Belt Tensioner for Wilson 2 printer

Alternative X & Y Belt Tensioner for Wilson 2 printer

thingiverse

These are the parts to make a better belt tensionner for the Wilson 2 printer. Original design uses a plastic wheel made of 2 halves with a 624 bearing inside and a M4 screw, I didn't like the idea of the plastic wheel (not perfectly smooth, may not be perfectly round, ...) Here is a version using 626 bearings and M6 screw, 2 discs prevend the belg to slide, those disks won't cause any firction on the bearing as they push it in the center. X and Y tensionner design are modified from the original design for the Wilson 2 (https://github.com/mjrice/Wilson2). Disc design was made by myself. To build a tensionner, you need: X or Y body 1 626ZZ or 626RS bearing 2 discs 1 M6 screw, washer and nut. Print Settings Printer: Customized prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 75% Notes: Printed using white PETG at 235°C
