Being a female with long hair which I usually wear pinned up leads to one major problem when traveling: the loss of bobby pins. Altoids tins are the answer, for hair ties as well but that's another story. The problem I soon found was that my variety of bobby pins and hair clips got so messed up, with the little ones often falling to the bottom and difficult to retrieve from the corners of the tin. I found several altoids tin dividers on thingiverse but they broke the tin into more numerous and smaller segments usually for pills. These dividers keep the segments slightly larger. They fit securely and allow the lids to latch fully close but they may wiggle around a little bit. So far they have kept things very organized and bobby pins remain unlost for three months on the road and counting.
