An alternative spool holder design features a spool sitting on top of the gantry, allowing free rotation. The spool slides in from the side and rests at an incline for smooth filament feeding. Two styles exist; one is larger with Aluminatus branding, while the other is compact and inconspicuous during use. I chose to print the larger version using 0.1 honeycomb fill for filament efficiency, though top layer artifacts were visible inside the spool, which remains hidden.
