This spool stand uses aluminum stock instead of wood. Plain old 1/4" aluminum stock is cheap. I also coated the bottom of the feet with Sugru for anti-slip purposes. Instructions Print two of each Cut aluminum to size (mine are identical to the original) assemble coat feet with Sugru profit
