AM8 Housing for Arduino + Ramps + Raspberry Pi B+ with 140mm Fan
thingiverse
Remix of a remix. I designed a custom case to hold both my RAMPs/Arduino combo and my Raspberry Pi, allowing me to mount it on my AM8 2040 Extrusion frame in one compact package. After researching existing cases, I found none that met my requirements for size and airflow. I created holes for bolting the case to aluminum extrusion frames and increased ventilation by adding more vents to the walls, while sealing the back of the original design. It's crucial to use a fan with this case due to heat dissipation needs. To make it easier, I included a 140-120mm fan adapter since most people likely won't have one lying around. In some cases, like mine, you may need to flip and invert your X-Motor in firmware for proper mounting.
