AM8 RAMPS Y axis endtop mount and target
thingiverse
I am using RAMPS for the boards in my AM8 build and based on the extended bed, 220mm x 270mm, my Anet A8 came with a Y axis endstop position that didn't allow my bed to move far enough towards the back. The RAMPS endstop switches don't make it easy to mount them on some printer frames. I designed a mount to attach the switch upside down, positioning the switch arm towards the front of the machine. It was also necessary to create a target for the switch to mount under the bed on the rear screws of the right rear bearing mount. 06/16/2017 Update: I added another Y Endstop Switch mount for the original endstop switch. Additional Parts: RAMPS endstop switch 2 x M3 x 10mm screws to mount the switch 2 x M5 x 10mm screws 2 x M5 square nuts Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 (I printed at 0.12) Infill: 20%
