Note: This and future projects are now available on Printables, see https://www.printables.com/model/165995-am8-skr2-raspi-mosfet-case . This two part case can be fixed to the left side of an AM8 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2263216) aluminium 2020 extrusion frame. Special care was taken to provide enough space for an USB cable which connect the SKR 2 and the RasPi. Also, the Ethernet port is easily accessible. Power and some motor wires come in from the bottom, and signal and the rest of the motor cables come out either the top or the right openings. The case fits: - 1 * Bigtreetech SKR 2 mainboard - 1 * Raspberry Pi - 2 * MOSFET module (e.g. https://www.amazon.de/-/en/gp/product/B077HP7XX9) - 1 * 40 mm cooling fan (e.g. https://noctua.at/en/nf-a4x10-flx) - 1 * Buck voltage converter (e.g. https://www.amazon.de/-/en/gp/product/B01GJ0SC2C) - 1 * Custom probe interface PCB Nuts and bolts needed: - many * M3 x ~12mm bolts - many * M3 nuts - 4 * M3 x ~60mm bolt or threaded rod - 5 * M5 x ~8mm bolt - 5 * M5 2020 slot nut - Some washers if you use longer bolts The parts should fit onto a 220 mm * 220 mm build platform with a bit space left. The holes should line up pretty well, however the SKR ones might need a bit of enlargement.
