AM8 Y Motor Mount Assembly Jig (AVZ)
thingiverse
This is a tooling setup for holding a Y motor in place on an AM8 frame assembly (specifically designed for Anet A8 and extrusions). It functions once you've completed the XY portion of the frame assembly, leaving only the gantry unattached. The jig should be positioned against the rear X extrusions with aluminum corner brackets at its left and a motor mount at its right side. However, positioning is not strictly necessary since the motor mount can be adjusted along the extrusion or the pulley along the shaft if needed. This tooling setup accommodates 20x20x17 corner brackets. You can find the Y motor mount here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2536603
