Amateur radio wire dipole antenna center box

thingiverse

The center box for an amateur radio wire dipole antenna BalUn is designed to be mounted at the top of a supporting antenna pole. Printed in PLA is fine for a temporary (portable) setup. For a more permanent installation, it needs to be painted to survive the UV solar radiation. White paint recommended to avoid deformations due to excessive overheating in the sun. Otherwise, it should be printed in a more thermal & UV radiation resistant material. Adjust (scale) the radius and/or height dimensions to your own needs and the selected balun core size.
