AMAX Drive In Amiga 2000

Just a couple of useful bits for putting a Mac 3.5" drive inside an Amiga 2000's 5.25" drive bay, for use with the AMAX emulator. The drive rail is used for mounting the mac floppy drive in the drive bay. It has been designed so that it can be used with most mac floppy drives still in their original metal enclosures, but some may require removing the enclosure if it protrudes below the bottom of the mechanism. It can also be used for other floppy drives too (amiga, pc, etc). The drive rail should be screwed onto the right side (when facing the front of the drive) of the floppy drive first, then inserted into the Amiga, and then screwed to the right side of the drive bay, as shown in the pics. If you want to backlight the fruit logo, use the "hole" .stl file, and also print out a "diffuser" in translucent material. There's a hole in that to mount a 5mm LED in. If you don't want the backlit logo, use the "nohole" version. I printed mine, face up, with support and raft for the best possible finish with no visible supports. Then paint it with an appropriately boring beige color, or a more exciting, more Mac'cy platinum color. The faceplate design was inspired by the Mac IIci/IIcx, and SE/30.
