The Amazon echo devices have this annoying auto dimmer for the LED ring indicator (light sensor in the wake button centre). It makes the LED so dim in average room lighting. Also, on the Echo Studio speaker, the location of the LED ring right on top means that if it's at or above eye level, you just can't see it at all from across the room. This angled reflector ring sits neatly on top and considerably improves the visibilty of the illuminated ring indicator, by reflecting the LED light outwards horizontally. There are two versions, one is full circle, the other is semicircle (if viewing only from front say). Either work the same way, it’s preference as to which you use. I think I prefer the full circle. They both sit very nicely into the slight recess just inside the LED ring. No fixings required. I wish there was an option to set the ring to full brightness but there isn't. Just try shining a torch onto the wake button and see the rings full wonderful potential. To Amazon, if you are reading this, please add a user option to the Alexa app to override the auto brightness sensor, on all your echo smart speakers! I want max vivid brightness! I’m pretty sure many others would too!! The Echo ring LED just looks so cool when it operates at its full potential.
