This Amazon Fire dock is designed specifically to contain this magnetic USB dock: https://www.amazon.co.uk/AGM-Magnetic-Adapter-Charger-Charging/dp/B01LLGCG9Y/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1479510881&sr=8-2&keywords=magnetic+usb%23 As soon as the Fire is docked, if positioned correctly the magnets will connect the USB for power. In the image, the usb cable is connecting to a Raspberry Pi USB socket in the base of the printer. Ideal if, like me, you use Octoprint on the Pi and want to use a Fire Tablet to control it via the web interface with the TouchUI plugin.
