The Gen 1 Amazon Fire TV Stick has a common problem with overheating. I designed this case as an easy solution to that problem. Since it has many openings to vent the hot air, it should perform much better than the original case. I have done some testing on it and have noticed a big improvement (it isn't that hard to beat a completely sealed plastic case). It requires no fasteners and slides on and snaps together. I went through a few design iterations to ensure that this fits nicely. I used ABS which is better at withstanding higher temperatures than most filaments.
