The purpose of this headlight is to sense when its getting dark out and it will automatically turn on. My vision is that it would incorporate the velodroom rear light technology to sense when it is moving and the ambient light sensor (rectangular part) so that it is only activated when the bike is moving and dark out. However, I also put in an override button (circular part) if the rider wants to turn it on/off regardless of movement or brightness.
