AMD SOCKET AM5 Thermal Paste Shield (3 versions) Designed to help prevent a mess while applying thermal paste to the oddly shaped AM5 chips. Paste can otherwise leak over the exposed chip components. 3 versions: 1. "AM5 Thermal Paste Shield - Break.stl" - Designed to set in place during mounting of the CPU cooler. Once installed, pulling on the tab should cause the frame to break into two parts for removal. *Experimental* - This will also not work if your cooler puts pressure on the print. Printed upside down, frame 1mm thick. 2. "AM5 Thermal Paste Shield - Hold.stl" - Designed to sit in place and cover the surrounds, but has a grip point to positon and slightly higher tabs at the back to lock on Remove prior to installing CPU cooler. Printed upside down, frame 1mm thick. 3. "AM5 Thermal Paste Shield - Cover.stl" - Designed to sit in place and cover the surrounds. Remove prior to installing CPU cooler. Printed upside down, frame 1mm thick. *This is as yet untested as I won't be upgrading my CPU for a few weeks yet.
