I designed this so my kids could hook a Target Brand Doll Horse trailer (huge by the way) to the back of their American Girl Doll Jeep. The jeep has an opening in the bumper appx .7" and the horse trailer has a clasp hitch of appx .465". I'm hoping the ball will be able to attach to other trucks/trailers as well. I made the bottom of the ball threaded (male) and the underside female threads so that it can be secured tightly.
