The AME morse code paddles are meant to be mounted to a base using the three screws supplied with the unit. However, the unit is small enough that it is perfect for field use in ham radio SOTA (Summits on the Air) and POTA (Parks on the Air) activities where handholding the unit may be the preferred method of use. This can be difficult since the adjustment screws are on the side and can be inadvertently pressed if your hands wrap around the unit. The shroud or sleeve is mounted to the bottom of the unit using the three supplied screws, protecting both the bottom and the adjustment screws.

I printed this using PETG, 15% fill density, gyroid fill pattern, 0.2 mm QUALITY setting on the Prusa i2 MK3.
