this adapter allows the use of modern shower trims (compatible with r110 and similar valves) with the older style ultramix valve and cartridge from american standard ultramix pressure balances and cartridges are still available to retrofit old valves without tearing up walls and plumbing, however none of the new shower trims will fit the ultramix cartridge, ergo if you have an outdated but otherwise functional american standard shower but want to use modern trims, these files might be of use. you'll need a small brass tube OD 11-12mm ID 8mm and tap an M4 hole to hold the handle adapter in place. if you are looking for replacement parts for the ultramix valve, these part numbers might be helpful. cartridge: 051337-0070A pressure balance: 077171-0070A openscad files included if you need to alter.
