The locking mechanism on the handle of my American Toursiter Bon Air 55cm suitcase broke (the last level wouldn't retract). I contacted the company for a repair part but they never got back to me. So I decided to create a replacement part. The part is not exactly the same but it should fit. I printed mine in ABS with a resolution of 0.1 mm and 100% infill (mainly because of the small size). ABS is definitely not the best material as it is pretty rigid. When inserting the piece in the chamber the little piece stiking out need to bend. In my case it didn't brake but (as suspected) showed some signs of stress. Just to be on the safe side I then reinforced this part through the the opening on the side with ABS Slurry.
