Ammo clip loader Pin

Ammo clip loader Pin

This is a replacement loader pin for a toy pistol ammo clip reverse engineered from the one my kids broke. It should work equally well in any similar style loader. Depending on the particular style of gun the horizontal pin might need to be filed shorter to fit. The STL file is Cura scaled and oriented for printing. Note the printing instructions to get a strong accurately printed part. Print Settings Printer: Rigidbot Big Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.1 mm Infill: 0% Notes: Make the walls on this part 2.4 mm thick with no infill. First layer 0.2mm with a 7 - 10 line brim. All remaining layers 0.1 mm thick. Printing this part requires support material set to at least 30% to provide perfect support for the horizontal pin. It will use hardly any material for the support. The part is quite small. Works well with PLA. Print slowly and use a good part cooling fan. Use filament calibrated both dimensionaly and thermally. I used the following calibration piece to set the parameters for the filament. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1037301 Post-Printing Fitting the part The loader pin is purposely on the long side to fit multiple styles of gun that use this type of loader. Just file it down to fit your ammo clip. Other than removing the support material no other finishing should be required.
