Amstrad NC200 PCMCIA type II guide

Amstrad NC200 PCMCIA type II guide

thingiverse

This is a replacement guide for the PCMCIA slot on an Amstrad NC200 laptop. The original guide only allows PCMCIA type I cards to be inserted; this guide will allow PCMCIA type II. Be sure to print this upside down or you'll need to add lots of supports. Sorry, it was easier to design that way up. To fit, carefully open up the NC200 and remove the floppy drive to gain access to the old guide. It's fastened in with two screws. Remove it, fit the new one in its place, and use one of the old screws in the obvious hole to secure it into place quickly. Note that the ROM software is not aware of PCMCIA type II cards, so you'll need something specially designed (like http://cowlark.com/cpmish) which knows about them.
