Repair your broken hinges without messing with epoxy, glue, bakingpowder etc. I got a PPC640 which was a little manhandled by one of the previous owners. Both hinges (and some other parts) where snapped of. Looking at youtube I found only a not very convincing video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKDnhJoxdWM&t=28s , but maybe a good idea for you). I tried it my own way with this 3d-printed part and i think it is a better and more durable solution. It works like new. The replacement-part uses the shape of the case for extra strength and to keep it solid in place. It works great and feels very solid.. Remove and disassemble the screen (see mentioned video). Disassembling is a pain but doable. If the hinge has a clean break at the bottom of the hinge, you can slide this thing in (maybe a little filing, see pictures) and that is it. If it is broken at a higher point, you have to remove that plastic. The part must be a tight fit, but have to fit without force. A little filing at some point of the parts may be necessary. See pictures. Before mounting test if the pins fit in the holes in the pc-case. The case for the screen must be able to close without any problem. If not take out your file again :). Happy Hinging :)
