Didn't want to drill 4 holes through the steel frame of the handbrake(plus it's hard to measure and find the correct hole locations). So I created a holder to mount the sliding pot, and use double-sided tape to attach the holder bracket to the handbrake. Works great, and simplified the process a lot. I also designed a cover with a hole for cable gland, so that cables won't pull the soldered pins. You may want to scale the cover a bit larger for a tighter fit.
