Amygdala (Bloodborne Fan Art)

This is a big, big boy. When I modeled The One Reborn, I was taken by surprise that I would need a gargantuan base of 8 inches in diameter to truly capture the scale of that creature. When I made the Amygdala however, I KNEW I would need a base this large, it's that massive. In terms of modeling, this one wasn't nearly as hard. What makes these creatures difficult to model is not so much scale, it's level of detail, and The One Reborn had so much more detail to capture than this guy. I did skip out on some detail that wouldn't show up well in printing, like all the tiny little hairs on this creature's body. Plus this model is one of the rare times I would make the creature itself in FDM. I suppose anyone with a large enough resin printer would make it work, just hollow it out. Enjoy!
