Android Wear Smartwatch / Fitness Band concept

I've not been satisfied with any of the currently available smartwatches, or the various fitness bands available today. Hence I set out to create a design concept of a smartwatch that would look good even with the screen off, as an eyecatching bracelet. To overcome a key problem faced by today's smartwatches, of allowing sufficient internal volume for a battery sufficient to last a day or two, my concept proposes the use of the tapered bracelet portion for a flexible LiPo or nanomesh battery. To avoid the unwieldy, thick "watch dial" portion (to house the electronics) common in present-day smartwatches, this design takes advantage of the shape of the cross-section of the wrist, to sneak in the thicker portion of the requisite electronics, while maintaining a sleek (6mm) outer profile. Best of all, the active electronic portion is housed in a snap-in module, suitable for swapping the bracelet / battery portion to go with the wearer's outfit, or just for spare battery capacity. This lends to a female-friendly, attractive unisex design, rather than something that would suit the wrist of a pro wrestler.
