My design for an upgraded Y-axis Belt Tensioner. It has been designed to take a 10mm wide toothed idler pulley, and adjusted height of centerpoint of the idler pulley for linear belt guidance. Please note that you'll need a different belt connector under the y carriage. This will help to keep the timingbelt in one plain. Just uploaded shortend arms,as I discovered version 1 was way too long. 4 th. design iteration... shortened the thread on the arms, those were protruding to much to my liking. Added a bevel to the treads to ease the printing. So stl files for arms version 2 uploaded. Please upload a picture if you've succesfully upgraded your printer...
