A 40mm fan adapter I made to replace with the standard 40mm extruder fan. I made this because I bought a more silent 40x40x20mm fan to replace the original loud one. Since the new fan is thicker it can't just replace the original one, because one of the bolts of the part fan on the side of the carriage is in the way. The lip at the top adds extra support and strength since there are no mounting points at the top. The 4 mounting holes for the new fan are smaller than a standard M3 bolt because mine came with self-tapping screws. For printing align the mounting flange with 4 holes on the heated bed and it should print, the lip is at 45° so it shouldn't be supported. Note: For this model the bolts to attach it to the extruder are M3x40, the originals are M3x45.
