Here we are again, this was a need derived project, i needed to stop the print bed constantly needing calibration. I've seen lots of frame braces for this printer and its brother the A8, however with out securing the printer down these only go part of the way. By analysing what was actually happening, ie lfting the corners of the printer and see it warp rather then lifting uniformly, i could see that the whole bottom of the frame needed braced. Again this is a design from scratch project, i took meticulous measurements, printed and modified. I used vernier calipers and feeler gauges to get the exact height needed for MY A6, this should be the same for your A6, but definitely NOT for the A8, hence i put ANET A6 on the actual model. I would definitely lay the model flat (rotate y 90 degrees) for printing, i certainly did. Prints fine in Cura 2.3.1 or using Cura slicer from Repetier, print speed about 55mm/s, 0.2 layer height, 20% or higher infill, i also chose 4 perimeters to give the material around the screw holes more strength Print Settings Printer: Anet A6 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 20 Notes: choose at least 4 perimeters for strength around the important bits Post-Printing The hole that goes over the screw thread is deliberately tight, test for fit and ream out slowly with 8mm drill ;)
