A small part I made for helping keep the two Z axis motors calibrated by keeping track of the height of the X carriage in the homed position, mainly on the non-switched side. It simply clips onto the vertical Z rod and includes a hole for an M3 screw. When in the correct homed position, the screw just touches the bottom of the X carriage. This is not an endstop which will act as a hard stop for the Z-carriage and prevent it from moving (the X carriage plastic will just bend when it runs into it), but it acts as a visual guide to check the X carriage is leveled correctly during each print. Calibrate the X carriage beforehand and adjust the height of the part in your slicer and use the screw to fine tune it to match Z height of the X carriage in the home position (this may require some trial and error).
