I'm reworking the 3mm glass version from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1593629 for convenience. Printing directly on top of the glass was the goal, but making bed adjustments each time seemed like a hassle. Auto bed leveling is ideal, yet this solution works as a temporary fix. Check out the changes at https://goo.gl/2GkvIX. I've just ordered proximity sensors, so until they arrive, this setup will allow me to use both glass and aluminum surfaces without issues.
