Anet A8 A-Frame Spool Lowering Kit

They sell lowering kits for muscle cars, so why not for the standard A8 a-frame spool holder? Once you add a spindle centring enhancement, the original a-frame works well ... BUT ... as I'm designing my dry box using an internal maximum height of 22 cm, I need to do some serious lowering, and I can't bring myself to waste the existing a-frame components. This original design contains a pair of spindle lowering brackets and a pair of replacement cross pieces that wrap over the lower corners of the a-pieces. Mark and drill holes for the cross pieces as desired and reuse the original mounting hardware. For the top ends of the lowering brackets I used an extra pair of simple nuts'n'bolts out of my random hardware stash. The outcome is a low profile spool only just clearing its floor and without hitting the frame.
