This is a simple mod for IsmaelPR1's original mount. I added a side bracket for a 12mm sensor. I have not tested it yet, but I am reasonably sure it will work. I used TinkerCAD to add the sensor to the side. Revision 1/18/17: My initial print of this highlighted some mistakes. So I moved the sensor mount up a bit to allow for the nut and lockwasher on the bottom of the sensor shaft. I also mostly removed the top of the mount because I will be using this as Bowden. I punched some holes in the remaining top area and the side area for the fan mount, just to maybe reduce some material. I also had a problem with the bit that actually clamps onto the E3d breaking off the plate. This was likely mostly a layer adhesion issue, that temperature will fix. But I also made two tiny 1mm shafts down thru that mount which should trigger the slicer to print them as solid shafts rather than simply a wide area of infill. Print Settings Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .1-.3 layer height, depending on how nice you want it. Infill: I suggest 60% Notes: Early tests promising. Part updated. Printed with 2mm thick shells in PETG. 225 degree nozzle, 60 degree bed. 0.1mm layer height. Take your time and print slow on this one.
