Anet A8 Enclosure Brackets

These eight (8) brackets are utilized to assist in forming an enclosure for the Anet A8. There are other materials needed for this enclose that cannot be printed but I will provide a list of materials below. To note This is still a work in progress and I will provide some pictures of the build as it progresses. These brackets are designed to be used with two different sized cuts of wood: 1.5" x 1.5" x (length of your choice) and 1.5" x .5" x (length of your choice) I started with some pre-cut lumber from a local hardware store then cut down to size. The quantities and sizes of the wood in imperial standard are below: 1.5" x .5" x 27" - 4 pieces (These are the top and bottom supports in the front and back of the enclosure) 1.5" x .5" x 21" - 2 pieces (These are the side top supports) 1.5" x 1.5" x 16" - 4 pieces (These are the upright supports in the corners) 1.5" x 1.5" x 21" - 2 pieces (These are the side bottom supports) You will need 8 screws (3/4" length) per bracket I am still working on getting the exact measurements of the acrylic covers and will add them once done. The nice thing about the modular design of these brackets is that you can determine the size of your enclosure, the above lengths are just the ones I used for mine. Edit : 2016/09/29 I have had more then one request to modify the brackets to fit standard metric sizes for wood. Since I am still working on the build those will come once it is completed. I am estimating the sizes will be changed as such: 1.5" lengths will be converted to 40mm lengths and .5" lengths will become 20mm lengths. As for the brackets themselves, once the metric standard designs are uploaded, they will have a "metric" tag in the names of the files or will be included as a zipped file. Keep an eye of for these modifications, they should be coming in the next week. Edit : 2016/11/26 The metric files are now live.
