To reduce the noise my printer makes I came up with this box. The box is 70cm x 50cm x 50cm big (inside) and is made from 6mm plywood. The front is made from some acrylic glass (approximately: 70cm x 50cm). At the side I glued some U-shaped aluminium as a mechanical guide for the acrylic glass. At the side I added a rectangular hole for the power supply cables. The hole for the filament has to be added yourself (due to individual placement). I added a picture for assembly to make it clear which part belongs where. The cable setup in the box still looks messy as you can see in the pictures, but I plan to tidy up and e.g. take the control panel out of the box. The handles I used may be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4619895 The noise reduction is good and the room always looks tidied up. Another benefit is the reduction of air flowing around and the heat of the nozzle and the bed is more constant. (For me very important beacause the printer sits beneath a window and I was always afraid to open the window in summer if a print job was running) I hope you like it.
