I first used the fan modification from hadoko (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2290361), but the hook to hold it close broke soon and i thought there must be a more robust solution. So i designed this fan modification where i included two chambers for neodym magnets to hold the door with the extruder fan with its heatsink closed. The magnets are round ones with 12mm diameter and 2mm thickness. If you have different magnets, search in the freecadfile for two boxes called "magnetraum". The heatsink on my machine is held with two different kinds of screws, whereas the upper screws are countersunk from the inside and the lower ones are simply screwed in the cooling fins - see the rightmost picture. I am not sure if both kinds of screws were shipped with the printer so you might have to find another way to attach your heatsink to its fan. It is correct that there is only one .stl file, as this thing can be printed in one step. cool eh? As expected, the heatsink and the bar above the extruder cling when the head moves fast enough. Some layers of lnsulating tape cut to a small stopper cancel the noise.
