I was fed up with the filament continuously unwinding itself and slipping off the spool's edge. I was also dissatisfied with the guides I had encountered, as they all insisted on guiding the filament through a single point. This concept didn't make sense to me, given that the filament unwinds across the spool's width and follows the carriage along the X axis. It is designed to clip onto the acrylic frame's top surface, so I used a small strip of two-way tape to secure it in place. I've been running it for several months now to ensure there were no issues with its performance.
