Anet A8 Heat bed Anti-stress connector connector. NOTE: soldering the heatbed connections and changing the point of "stress by movement" is the best solution to this fire hazard issue!! Since not everybody is capable of soldering these connections, and should not try to if they dont know how to solder, I made this connector. Lots of people say that the heatbed connector itself isn't capable of handling the 10A of current, yet these connectors are rated at 10A, so the connector itself should not be the problem in my opinion, the stress of movement on the connector is the real problem here. This simple stress relieve connector goes onto your heatbed connector. This connector moves the point of "stress by movement" away from the critical pins and so reduces ~90% of the movement of these high current pins. Making the stock connector !!more saver!! MATERIALS NEEDED: - HOT Glue ** - 1x Antis stress bedconnector connector. - 2x M3 x 12mm - 2x M3 Nuts ** UPDATE 25-10-2017: When printing a lot of ABS prints, do not use HotGlue but use a good contact glue or similar to secure the connector to the connector. I had my HotGlue become very soft when printing big ABS prints resulting in a badly secured and moving connection. No problems so far when printing big PLA prints. (See pictures for installation) IMPORTANT: Check your connector from time to time!! This upgrade does NOT make your printer or the connector 100% SAVE!! Use at own risk!!
