This was made in order to make the hotbed cable connector safer. There were some cases of printers like this catching on fire and i believe that this mod could help a little bit. If you are using the original Anet`s Auto Leveling Sensor, its a good idea to move it to the front of your hotend, it may hit the cable relief in very large prints.
