I made this stabilizer to minimize the strain on the frame after i installed the HULK bracing. As intended it does also make the rear acrylic Plates way more rigid . I also had a crack in my frame that i had to fix with an acrylic plate and glue, this rod helps keeping that in place as well. If you build this Do NOT over tighten the nuts on the rod as this may crack the frame, Its only intended to stabilize the two acrylic plates and not change alignment. You will need: 6x M8 nuts(*i used two nylock 1 in each outer cap and 4 normal on the inner counter knobs. 1xM8 threaded rod *cut to 34cm You will get: 2x outer knobs 2x inner knobs 2x 25mm spacers for 6mm frame 2x 25mm spacers for 8mm frame (to fill in the holes in the anet frame) Before assembly take a 9mm drill-bit and run trough the holes in the two inner knobs so that you don`t have to suffer so much when threading it into place . Preheat all the nuts on your heatbed together with the Knobs for an easy installation . You can cover the rod in tape or that plastic cable wrap that came with the printer for a better look . If you are sure you are going to leave it on permanently you may as well put on heat shrink although this is very tricky. If you struggle fitting the spacers you can always preheat them in a cup of hot water then they should slide right in
