Anet A8 Right Side 12mm Inductive Sensor Bracket
thingiverse
This is a work in progress, and I was searching for a sensor bracket for my A8 in order to add auto-levelling firmware to my setup. Most of the brackets that I have found either mount on the left side of the extruder using the heat sink screws or on the weak spot on the front fan screws. I noticed that people who print entirely new carriages for the X-Axis have the sensor mounted on the right side, and I figured out that I could add a sensor to the right side mounting block screws. So I made up this little bracket to go on a standard setup. It accommodates a 12mm diameter threaded inductive sensor. I still need to look at the Skynet firmware to see if the probe locations on the table have a sensor position offset, so if it does this design will be able to be used. Please provide feedback if this design was useful and how you handled the firmware.
